Why Boracay?
Boracay is a small island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines, measuring just 7 km long and 1 km wide. Despite its size, it packs more experiences per square kilometre than almost any other island in Asia.
White Beach — the main beach — stretches 4 kilometres of powdery white sand and consistently ranks among the world's top beaches. The water is calm, clear, and varies from emerald to electric blue depending on the light.
After a temporary closure in 2018 for environmental rehabilitation, Boracay came back cleaner, better-regulated, and more beautiful than ever. Visitor caps, stricter environmental rules, and major infrastructure upgrades have transformed it into a genuinely sustainable destination.
Best Time to Visit Boracay
Sunny, calm seas
Some rain, possible typhoons
Typhoon risk, rough seas
Coolest months, perfect
Verdict: November to May is the best time to visit. December to February offers the coolest temperatures and calmest seas. March to May is hot but uncrowded and has the cheapest flights. Avoid June–October unless you are on a strict budget.
